Marist Formula 1 in Kuala Lumpur for World Finals!

World Finals Again for Marist Formula 1: For the second year in a row, a group of students from Marist Athlone are representing Ireland in the Formula1 in Schools World Finals. The team arrived in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday 20th of September.

The competition will take place over the next week and the team will be attending the Malaysian Grand Prix as part of the trip. They were also guests of the Irish Ambassador to Malaysia, Mr Eamon Hickey, at a reception in the Irish Embassy in Malaysia.

The team, named Quantum Racing, consists of Padraig McDermott (Team Manager), Robert Lowe (Marketing & Manufacturing) and Ruaidhri Campion (Finance manager). This result continues our tradition in F1, the Marist Hurricanes having won the national title last year.
