JCT Rugby are off to a great start!

Our Junior Cup rugby side have made a great start to the year with two wins against Colaiste Iognaid and Roscommon CBS, The Jes who travelled to Athlone on Wednesday last were defeated 17-14. This opening win saw winger Adam O'Donovan scoring the opening try with Sam Fogarty and Ben O'Carroll also touching down. Impressive for the Marist was captain Diarmuid Carey, Martin O'Grady and Aaron Burke.

Marist 12 Roscommon 3

Another win for our Junior Cup Rugby team. A final score of 12-3 saw the Marist defeat a good side in Roscommon. An opening penalty for CBS put them into 3-0 lead. Marist though responded with two tries and the second one was converted by Ben O’Carroll.
