Maths Week 2017
Despite the best efforts of hurricane Ophelia Maths week 2017 did take place, even if it had to spill over into this week. The school was a hive of mathematical activity with the First Years producing many original ideas and concepts to highlight the use of maths in everyday life.
The national PRISM competitions were held internally and there was much debate and indeed scratching of heads around many of the questions. There was great engagement from all of the student nobody with the various activities as our Maths department once again showed how interesting and fun Maths can be. A big thank you to all the Maths teachers who organised activities and quizzes.
