U-14 Rugby off to a Winning Start

Our U14 rugby team had their first game of the Connacht schools premier league on Tuesday last against ‘The Bish’ from Galway. The Marist boys got off to a great start with a super team try touched down by Adam Farnan. The Bish regrouped and scored two quick fire tries as they spread the ball wide very effectively. Marist got the wakeup call they needed and scored another two tries before half time while adding three more in the second half, all tries were converted by Luca Giles. The game finished on a scoreline of 42-17. All players should be very proud of their first outing in the blue and yellow of Marist College. The Marist boys are playing at home again on Thursday the 1st of Feb at 12:30. All support is welcome.
