U-15 Soccer Team Reach West Leinster Final

Congratulations to our U-15 team who have reached the West Leinster League Final following their hard fought 1-0 win over Moate CS. Played on the all-weather pitch in the excellent Athlone IT facilities it took a great effort from Brian Nestor to break the deadlock. Despite having to field without schoolboy international Dylan Gavin, Marist had good performances from Senan Baker, Tom Kelleher, Brian Nestor and Brian Connell. This win sets up regional final against St Joseph’s Rochfortbridge.
