Retreat in the Marist

First and Second Year students recently took part in a retreat, hosted by An Tobar Nua. Through the use of video, music, games, guided reflections and personal stories, the team helped the students to explore their faith. Their aim is to interact with students on topics that are highly relevant and responsive to the challenges and pressures that youth are dealing with daily. The students really enjoyed the experience and provided positive feedback on the activities and insights they gained. One of the Key Skills of the Junior Cycle is ‘Staying Well’ and students explored the strand entitled ‘being responsible, safe and ethical in using digital technology’ in a fun setting.
