School Tour takes TY’s to Barcelona:

Arriving to school at the unusual hour of 2:00 am, 40 TY students and 4 teachers sleepily made their way to Dublin Airport to begin their trip to Barcelona. It was an action filled 5 days with the group getting to visit many famous sites such as the Camp Nou stadium, home of Barcelona FC and the Catulna F1 race track. Other places of interest where the historical sites of Monserrat and The Gothic Quarter. Some recreation and downtime came with aday trip to the Port Aventura water and theme park while the boys got the chance to do some shopping with a stop at the Las Arenas Shopping Centre. There were a few screams to be heard as the group descended down towards Barcelona Port on the ‘Teleferico del Puerto’ cable car, it is not yet confirmed if these were nervous teachers and students. All told this was a wonderful experience and special thanks to Mr Scannell who organised the whole trip.
