Marist Oarsmen Clean up at the National Schools Regatta - 5 All Ireland Titles

Marist College Rowing teams enjoyed unprecedented success at the National Schools Finals which were held at O’Brien’s Bridge on the Limerick-Clare border. The school claimed 5 national titles in what was a most rewarding day.

At Junior (U-15) level, Marist won the 8s, the quad and the double, a near clean sweep of this category. At U-14 level there were victories in both the quad and double. Great credit is due to the students involved who put in such hard work in what is really a grueling sport that demands a huge physical effort. Thanks to Mr Paul Donovan and all at Athlone Rowing Club for their help and assistance.
