Westmeath Garda Youth Awards

Students from Marist College have been nominated by their teacher Ms Orla McGrath and Principal Mr Michael Dermody for the Westmeath Garda Youth Awards which will take place on Thursday 17th January in Athlone.

The awards recognise and celebrate the valuable contribution these students are making to school life and in the wider community.

Students Edward Clarke and Eoin McCarthy have been nominated for a group award for their involvement in the Marist Leaders Project.

Ruairi Smith and Pearse Frost are also nominated for a group award for their volunteer work with the Irish Pilgrimage Trust.

Christopher Bars, Michael White and Eric McCallon (absent from pic) are nominated for individual awards based on their altruism in looking after family members.
