World Book Day Activities

World Book Day was celebrated on the 7th of March and Marist students took part in numerous book related activities. 1st and 2nd Year students had the opportunity to Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) each day for fifteen minutes before break. Students took part in book discussions, where reading recommendations were made, and created a list of ‘must read’ books. 2nd Years researched their favourite authors and presented projects to their peers. Junior students also participated in a ‘Literary Knowledge’ table quiz on World Book Day.
