Basketballers win on the double.

Both or U-16 and U-19 basketballers enjoyed success in their respective competitions this week. Up against Confey College from Leixlip in both games, the U-16’s emerged victorious on a convincing score line of 60-39. The U-19 match was a tense affair with the result in the balance until the last few seconds, up stepped Darren O’Hara-Duggan to secure a 66-65 victory when he converted a last second free-throw.

Great credit is due to both squads who have been trasining hard under the watchful eye of Ms Gregg and Ms Nolan. A special mention to Brian O’Hara-Duggan and Ultan O’Rourke who were part of both squads.
