2019 Midlands Region Pi Quiz

The 2019 Midlands Region Pi Quiz was hosted by the Maths department at Marist College, Athlone last Friday night, April 5th. Fourteen teams participated from the West and Midlands region. Congratulations to Salerno Secondary School from Galway who came in first place. We are very proud of our own Marist team of David Dolan, Filip Klosowski, Piotr Jasinski and Darragh Elliott who came in second place losing out by just one point. Well done also to Moate Community College who finished in third place. All teams involved showed outstanding mathematical ability and should be very proud of their efforts. The standard of Maths was exceptionally high. Students, teachers and parents all had an enjoyable evening.
