Marist came out on top in this opening group game in the 2018 Top Oil Conncht Schools Senior Cup Competition. Travelling to Creggs to take on Roscommon CBS was never going to be an easy task but a strong performance from the Marist pack was the platform on which victory was built. A strong front row showing from Liam Doyle, Cian Daly and Ted Brosnan was central to the pack dominance. Allied to this was strong carrying from Martin Fallon, Liam Winnet and Martin Fallon. Marist scored 3 tries through Fergus Galvin, Darren Browne and Ted Browne. Adam Murtagh, Leo McFarlane and Michael Byrne were successful from the kicking tee.
