All Ireland Inter-Schools Sailing Championship

The 2018 All Ireland Inter-Schools Sailing Championship took place this weekend in Sutton Dinghy Club, Dublin. Two days of tough racing against the top schools in the country saw Marist College Athlone take the overall Team Championship title, along with the Conor Nolan Memorial Trophy. The team members Alexander Farrell, Eoghan Duffy, Darragh Elliott, Mathew Fallon and Dylan Farrell battled strong winds and tides. In a nail biting finish, it came down to the final race where the lads from Marist College emerged victorious.

The boys are all members of Lough Ree Yacht Club and have represented their school and club both nationally and internationally.
